JO Meet
Entries:
Parents,
please note that the JO Meet entries are due on February
5. We know that there is a swim
meet that weekend, and that some of the younger swimmers are hoping
to achieve their times that weekend.
However, we need to process the majority of the entries by February
5, alleviating the time crunch on getting them processed. We will still be able to add the later
entries if necessary. Anyone who achieves a JO time at the
12 & under meet this weekend should send Gary an e-mail on
Sunday evening with their new JO times! Please note that any JO times achieved at the
Senior Classic will not be eligible for the JO Meet. Thank you!
JO
Dinner
We will be
having our traditional Junior Olympic dinner for all Junior Olympic
qualifiers (individual and relay-only) and their families on
Wednesday, February 17. The team, including the relay
swimmers, will be announced on Friday, February 12. The dinner will be a Potluck dinner at
Rancho Arbolitos, and it will begin at 6:30pm. All families should bring their own
drinks.

High School
Swim Season = Schedule Change for some groups:
Please note
that High School season is due to start, and this means some
adjustments in schedule for several groups. We have attached the schedule that will go into
effect on Monday, February 22.
Please review times and locations for all groups, even those groups
without HS swimmers.
Secondhand
Parkas:
We have two PS parkas that have been donated back to the team. We will sell these for $50 to anyone who
wants to purchase one, on a first-come basis.
HIGH SCHOOL
SWIMMERS We recommend that HS swimmers swim in
February, since HS does not begin until the very end of that month.
We have a current list of swimmers from whom we have already
received notice. Please check this
list, and be sure to send an e-mail notification at Gary@pacificswim.com if your
name is not on the list. Please go
online to www.psswim.com and check it
out! These swimmers will have their
account de-activated after the Senior Classic.
USA Swimming
2010 Registration
All swimmers
MUST fill out and turn in their 2010 Registration Card to San Diego
Imperial Swimming. Registration Forms
are available at Rancho Arbolitos, and are also available online at
www.si-swimming.com . Please note that you must download and mail
in the form.
SWIM LESSONS for little swimmers
during the week will begin in March. We
offer Saturday lessons for swimmers age 2 years and older all year
round. Please call the office at (858)
486-3670 with questions.
Our Pacific
Swim Meet will be on March 13 & 14:
This will be an
A/B All Ages meet. The Meet Sheet will
be available later this week. Please note that one of our two
annually hosted meets is coming up in March. We need all hands on deck to help with hosting
this meet! To simplify the Job Sign-up,
we have kept the job signup sheet from our last meet, and we will
be placing everyone in the same positions as the last meet. This list will be posted on the website at
www.psswim.com later this week,
so you can click on it and doublecheck your job. If you need to change your designated job, please
e-mail gary@pacificswim.com
PS
Accounting Info:
Parents: Please take note that we will be charging a $25.00
processing fee for returned CHECKS and rejected CREDIT
CARDS. Whenever a check is
returned, or a credit card rejected when we try to run it, a fee is
charged to the team. We have been hit
with several hundred dollars in charges, and we cannot incur this
fee. As such, we are passing it on to
the parent s in the hopes that it will encourage more responsible
accounting. Thank you.
